Green and clean

Better late than never I see I never published this post...but here goes...worth the read.

Here it is August and I took this picture on my Architectural Day in June. Look Closely, I didn't get it until I saw the picture, it is a solar powered Laundry Mat! I took the picture because I loved the colours and the font on the signage, not realizing it really was eco friendly. Kudos to them! One of my most favorite books is " '>the green book" chalked full of eco friendly ways to be kind to our planet...FYI Did you know... that the US uses enough plastic bags to make a rope long enough to wrap around the world 126 times! So think again about asking for a plastic bag. Make a cool one out of an funky tee shirt like I saw on Martha Stewart one day.

Wax on Wax Off

Hi Folks! This is a handy tip I shared with the good people at Benjamin Moore today. Got a  tight spot or brand new hardwood floor that you don't want to ruin?  Then roll some out wax paper, cut it in half and slip it under your baseboards. Handy Non?
